Oriental Interest Berhad (“OIB” or “the Company”) was incorporated in Malaysia on 3 August 1993 under
the Companies Act, 1965 as a private limited company under the name of Oriental Interest Sdn. Bhd. The
Company was converted to a public limited company on 22 December 1993 and adopted its present name.
The principal activities of the Company are investment holding and provision of management services.

The Company was officially listed on the Main Market of the then Kuala Lumpur Stock Exchange (now
known as Bursa Malaysia Securities Berhad “Bursa Securities”) on 18 October 1994.
